9/24/14 - 9/30/14: Days 1, 2, & 3: CRITERION A: INQUIRING AND ANALYZING:
1) The first step is to gather all of your materials. Use the 'Self-Reflection Portfolio' checklist. It tells you everything you need to staple to your portfolio.
2) The second step is to use the questions at the bottom of your 'Self-Reflection Portfolio' to help you brainstorm what information you could possibly share in your project. Once you feel like you have brainstormed enough information to include in a 3-4 minute presentation, sign up to conference with Ms. Berndt.
Please note:
All information you plan to share should help you solve the following problem:
How can I effectively communicate who am as a holistic person*
through a visual representation and an oral presentation?
...and the information must address the following design spec:
- describe many areas of your life
- connect to the Multiple Intelligences, Learning Styles, and IB Learner Profile
- be unique, interesting, and new to your audience
3) The third step is to investigate different types of technologies that could be used to make your visual representation. Record pros/cons to each web-based program you explore, which will help you evaluate later on.
As a reminder: The following resources were given out in class to help you:

Days 4, 5, and 6: Work time for Criterion C: Creating the Solution
1) Make adjustments to your Criterion B evidence if needed.
2) Begin following your plan and creating your solutions. As you work, make sure to record your accomplishments and/or setbacks on your Work Log.
3) Add your modifications on the back of your Work Log. A modification is any change you make to the original plan (the content and/or the design). You might add a step, take out a step, or change a step. Add your reasoning to justify why making the change(s) were necessary when creating the solution.

Some things to remember:
- You must come to class on Thu. 10/16 with your visual complete and ready to use.
- You must participate in a peer review on Thu. 10/16.
- You must send Ms. B. any digital visual products on Friday! That way she can let you know if it works, if there are any major problems, and/or if the technology works on her computer.
- Everyone presents. Everyone must come ready on Monday to present. There are no free passes; you'll be awesome. You'll be even awesome-er if you're prepared! Practice, practice, practice!
